The 26-year-old “Complicated’ singer ,who was once married to Deryck Whibley, revealed her preference when it comes to men. Avril admits that she goes for traditional guys who are prepared to open doors and buy flowers for her.

“I like a classy man, a gentleman who opens the door and gives flowers and always puts the lady first,” Avril told Maxim magazine.

The punk princess ,who has been seeing Brody Jenner earlier this year, says she doesn’t like to hang out with people who are really into the “Hollywood scene’ and have a wild party,instead, Lavigne admits she prefers to stay at home.

“The only time I really ever get photographed is if I decide to go out with my friends to a bar or club, so it kind of looks like I do that more than I do. The majority of the time I stay in,” she said.

“I got here on my own. I came from a small town and grew up in a regular home. I know what I’ve worked hard for. I’ve seen a lot of people who have gone a little crazy and who are really into the Hollywood scene. I don’t really like to hang out with people like that.”
